![]() ![]() In cases where you are being swarmed, let Abigail do her thing and stand onto the side. I strongly recommend helping Abigail out with the damage, unless an army of spiders or something is swarming you. Wendy’s gameplay can feel relatively passive if you allow Abigail to do all of the damage. Butterflies only take one hit to kill, but if you don’t get the timing down, right butterflies will lead you on a pointless chase. ![]() The absolute easiest way to summon Abigail is to kill a Butterfly. I usually kill some Bees or a Spider for early access to Abigail. It’s helpful to remember that you do not need to kill a specific mob to summon Abigail. To summon Abigail, the player must place Abigail’s Flower onto the ground and kill an enemy mob near it. Wendy does the majority of her damage from her sister Abigail who can be summoned as a ghost within 2-4 days (in single-player). Wendy is effectively Don’t Starve’s version of a Summoner. You can also, of course, just craft yourself a Top Hat. If you are having difficulty dealing with Sanity, pick some flowers and craft a Pretty Parasol and a Garland as having these will make it so you do not lose any sanity at night. Note that Wendy will still receive the same amount of insanity from foods like monster meat, wetness from rain and modifiers from objects that give insanity. Wendy will also lose less sanity when she is around mobs with insanity auras. While Wendy is not entirely unaffected by the Dark, she does lose less Sanity than other characters. When you first start playing Don’t Starve, chances are you are going to try to avoid becoming insane, so playing as Wendy can be extremely beneficial. ![]() Wendy is unlocked with 640 experience in Don’t Starve and is a playable character in Don’t Starve Together. This guide will take you through all the currently discovered details, however, as more changes are made this guide will continue to be updated. Note: Due to the Wendy character rework that took place in March 2020 there are some drastic differences between how Wendy plays in single-player Don’t Starve and Don’t Starve Together. Sanity Modifier: Drains -25% less than the default (in certain circumstances) and no Sanity loss from Ghosts (DST) WENDY’S STATSĭamage Modifier: 25% less than the default She can be used to provide your team with meat seemingly effortlessly. While Wendy is a bit depressing to hang around, her sister Abigail makes killing early game mobs exceptionally easy. Or something like that.Wendy, by far, is the character I found the easiest to play with, especially in the early game. You then can not making another charater until you either A) Survive a total of 50 days or B) Surivie UPTO day 50. Lets say you make a character and make it to day whatever and die. And I think a fair to fix that is to you have to unlock the ability to do so. I think the only problem is that no one would play the default characters. I don't think it's would destoy the game I think it would only help it. Get to day 100 and just make a little mistake and I don't want to play the game for like a week.Īnd I know how people are talking about how this would make the game eaiser, but you can already do that with the world you create before you even start. I understand this game is about trial and error but alot people don't even want to play the game after a death from doing something stupid or just at all. (Plus it could help with testing random stuff.)įor like an example, using a character with alot of cave buffs and just running right to the cave on day like 5 just to see whats there and what not. Plus people could use this to try something new rather then on a real character. I mean I know I would do it a few times just for fun. Like picking all the buffs and taking no debuffs. I don't really mind it the whole you can pick whatever you want and play it that way. Perhaps some sort of point system, each buff taking points, each debuff adding points, neutrals doing nothing, and leftover points are used for health, hunger, and sanity. ![]()
